I started Graveside with Love because I understood what it felt like to live far from a loved one's grave.
When my own grandmother passed, I was living away from London. I couldn't visit as often as I wanted to. I wished there was someone I could trust to look after it on my behalf.
That's why I set up this service. I carry out every visit myself, treat every grave as if it belongs to my own family, and send photographs so you can see it's been done properly.
I use only conservation-safe cleaning agents. I never use bleach or pressure washers.
Our method
We use conservation-safe cleaning agents developed for memorial stonework, breaking down moss, lichen and algae without damaging the stone.
Bleach and pressure washing cause long-term damage. We work by hand, using soft brushes and the right agent for each stone type.
We're happy to discuss our methods before any visit — if you have concerns about a particular stone, tell us and we'll assess it carefully first.
